中央大學語言中心誠徵專案助理教授(含)以上教學型英語教師

應徵條件：
  • 須具英語教學、應用語言學或相關領域博士學位。
  • 具國外大學全英語授課經驗和/或曾任EMI師資培訓者優先錄用。
  • 有豐富教學經驗，曾在四年制大學院校任教相關課程尤佳。
  • 受聘者除按本校規定鐘點授課，並須支援本校雙語學習計畫之執行(如EMI教師培訓、EAP/ESP課程與教材規劃等)，以及規劃和執行本中心相關行政事務。
  • 主要教授大一英文、EAP及ESP等課程，須參與大一英文統一期末試題命題審題、EAP/ESP教材製作，與核心教材評估、意見回饋等事宜。

聘期時間：自115年8月1日起。

Job Description:
Full-time position in dynamic & supportive university teaching center
All assistant/associate/full professors expected to participate fully in administrative duties (e.g., committees, etc.)

Salary:
Standard salary/benefit package for a national public university assistant/associate/full professor; full details sent to applicants upon request.
 
Requirements:
A PhD degree (or ABD; PhD is required before date of hire) in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related fields.
Preference will be given to applicants with (1) overseas (EMI) teaching experience at the university level and/or (2) EMI teacher training experience.
Strong teaching experience, particularly in teaching relevant courses at four-year colleges or universities, is highly desirable.
In addition to teaching according to the university's regulations, the hired candidate will be required to support the implementation of the university's bilingual education program, including EMI teacher training and the planning and development of EAP/ESP courses and materials. They will also be involved in planning and executing administrative tasks related to the center.
The primary responsibility will be teaching freshman English, EAP (English for Academic Purposes), ESP (English for Specific Purposes), and other related courses. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the development and review of final exam questions for freshman English, contribute to the development of EAP/ESP teaching materials, as well as evaluate core teaching materials and provide feedback.
